A Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet (CPO) is very different from a used car. CPO Chevys are known for their high quality and dependability, and today we’re going to look at some of their benefits.

New Models, Low Mileage

CPO status is limited to vehicles that are less than six years old and have 75,000 miles or fewer on the odometer. These limitations ensure that only the most recent models with the lowest mileage are eligible, which helps to protect quality. In addition, each vehicle has a clean title, which is confirmed by its supplied CARFAX report.

The CARFAX Buyback Guarantee pledges that if a vehicle is found to have a DMV-branded title that isn’t disclosed in their report, they will buy back the vehicle from you at the price you paid. This guarantee applies for one year from the date of the report.

Comprehensive Inspection

All CPO Chevys must pass a 172-point inspection completed by a Chevy-trained technician. This inspection includes checking its maintenance, tires, and brake pads, then moves on to examine its detailing. The technician then takes the vehicle for a road test to gauge its performance under real-world conditions.

All systems in the engine compartment are examined and tested, and then interior and external components are inspected to ensure they’re in good condition and working correctly. If the vehicle is hybrid or electric, its specialized components, like the Battery Energy Control Module and Starter/Generator Control Module, are also tested. If the vehicle passes the inspection, the technician, Service Manager, and Used Vehicle Manager must all confirm it.

Warranty Protection

New Chevys are covered by a bumper-to-bumper warranty for the first three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. A CPO is covered by any remaining portion of its original warranty. An additional factory-backed twelve-month or 12,000-mile Bumper-to-Bumper Limited warranty is also issued to give you peace of mind that the vehicle is protected against any unforeseen issues.

A Powertrain Limited Warranty also covers all new Chevys for six years or 100,000 miles, and the remaining part of this warranty is also transferred to a CPO. In the unlikely event of a warranty-related issue, the problem will be repaired by Chevy-trained technicians using only Chevy-approved replacement parts.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside assistance is available for all CPO Chevys 24/7/365 for the duration of the powertrain limited warranty. If you have a problem, technicians will be sent to your location to get you back on the road ASAP.

Scheduled Maintenace

You receive two complimentary maintenance visits within the first two years or 24,000 miles. This maintenance includes tire rotations and oil and oil filter changes.
